It was important for us to not only share curriculum, but also experience. We wanted to share stories from real students and see first hand what was learned and how it's put into practice. The result are three stories about three different programs told from the point of view of the students themselves.
Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is not only our Director Drury's alma mater, it's also one of the most prestigious art schools in the country. A tremendous amount of focus has been placed on the undergrad experience and teaching art in the purest sense, so the idea of bringing business elements into this world has been, well, slow. The three programs that MICA needed to promote are part of this new certificate programming that combines real world occupation, business elements and art. Leaving the graduate with more than a portfolio, but real world skills.
